Discussion
After you submit your reviews, read author responses, take part in the reviewer discussion, and update your score when concerns are resolved.
Purpose
The Discussion tab is where the conversation about a paper happens once reviews are in. It lists the papers for which you've submitted a review, lets you re-read your review, see any author response, follow the reviewer discussion, and — when an author has responded — post a reply and adjust your score. The tab is shown during the discussion phase or whenever you have unread responses (a badge shows the count).
When you use it
- After the review deadline, to read how authors responded to your reviews.
- To discuss a paper with the other reviewers.
- To revise your score after a response addresses (or fails to address) your concerns.
Walkthrough

Open the Discussion tab. It lists every paper for which you've submitted a review, newest activity first; the summary line counts the papers and flags how many need attention. Papers without a submitted review don't appear here.

Click a paper's header to expand it. The Your Review panel shows your score and confidence, with a View full review link to the review form.

Read the Author Response if one has been posted (a Author responded badge marks these papers), along with any comments from the other reviewers.

When an author has responded, use the Your Response box to reply, and the Update Score selector to raise or lower your score if their response changes your assessment. Click Post Response to submit.
Tips
The tab's built-in guidelines are worth following: read author responses carefully and acknowledge their points, explain clearly if concerns remain, update your score when issues are genuinely resolved, and keep a professional, constructive tone — authors and the committee both read this.
A paper only enters discussion once your review for it is submitted. If the tab is empty, finish and submit your reviews from My Assignments, then check back during the discussion phase.
Author-response and reviewer-comment threading on this tab is still being completed in the product. Until it's live, papers may show No author response yet even after the discussion phase opens, and a posted response may not yet persist. Confirm the current behaviour with your Program Chair before relying on it.
