Website Builder
Build your conference's public website with a drag-and-drop builder — pick a template, compose pages from sections, edit text inline, restyle with color themes, then publish to a live conference URL.
Purpose
The Website Builder is the drag-and-drop tool for creating and maintaining your conference's public website. You pick a starting template, compose pages out of ready-made sections (hero, important dates, committee, and more), edit text by clicking it, restyle with color themes, and publish when it's ready. Conference Leadership and Web Chairs both have access.
When you use it
Use it to stand up the public site for the first time, and any time afterward to keep it current — adding pages, refreshing content, adjusting the design as the conference evolves.
How to open it
- 1
Open the Conference Leadership Console, select your conference, and go to the Website tab — that's where the full builder lives. (Web Chairs can also reach the website area from their console.)
- 2
The builder has five tabs across the top: Design (templates, color themes, live preview), Pages (create and manage pages), Editor (the drag-and-drop section builder), Preview (see the site at desktop, tablet, and mobile sizes), and Publish (take it live or offline).
- 3
The first time, you'll choose a template or start from a blank canvas; after that the tab reopens straight into the builder with your site loaded.
Where to go next
- Choosing a template — the template gallery and how templates differ.
- Editing content — pages, sections, and click-to-edit.
- Styling & themes — color themes and hero backgrounds.
- Publishing — preview, go live, and visibility.
Tips
A natural flow is left-to-right: choose a look in Design, lay out your pages in Pages, build each one in the Editor, check it in Preview, then Publish. You can jump back to any tab at any time — nothing is locked in until you publish.
