My Assignments

The list of every paper assigned to you. Filter and sort it, download each PDF, and open the review form to start, continue, or view your review.

Last updated: 2026-10-25

Purpose

The My Assignments tab lists every paper assigned to you in the selected program. It's where you track the status of each review, download papers to read, and open the review form. The tab appears once you have at least one assigned paper, and carries a badge showing how many reviews you haven't started.

When you use it

  • To see all your assigned papers and which ones still need work.
  • To download a paper's PDF before reviewing it.
  • To start, continue, or view a review for any assigned paper.

Walkthrough

  1. 1

Open the My Assignments tab. The summary cards show your totals: Total Assigned, Submitted, In Progress, and Not Started.

  2. 2

Narrow the list with the filter chips (All, Not Started, In Progress, Submitted), and click any column header (Paper #, Title, Status, or Score) to sort.

  3. 3

The Category column shows the category the author picked at submit (such as Full Paper or Short Paper), coloured by its type: cyan for a paper, purple for an abstract and blue for a proposal.

  4. 4

Click a row to expand it and read the paper's abstract, plus your review's score, confidence, and last-updated date if you've started one.

  5. 5

Use the download button to open the paper's PDF in a new tab. (When no PDF is available the button is disabled.)

  6. 6

Click the review button to open the review form for that paper. It reads Review when not started, Continue when in progress, and View once submitted. Each paper's status badge and a colour code (warning / info / success) reflect where it stands.

Tips

Where you actually write the review

The review button takes you to the dedicated review form for the paper. For how to write a strong, well-structured review, see Writing a review.

A submitted review can still be opened

Once a review is submitted, the button changes to View but still opens the form: you can revisit (and, until the review deadline, revise) what you wrote.

No papers yet?

If the tab says you have no papers assigned, the matching phase may not have placed papers with you yet. Check back after assignments are made, or use the Bidding tab while it's open to signal your preferences.

Who can open a paper

Paper files open only for people with a role on that paper: you see the PDFs of papers assigned to you. Each download is checked when you click it, and the link it opens works for a few minutes only, so copying it to someone else does not share the paper. Files are named by paper number (for example paper-17.pdf), never by the authors' own file names. If a paper is no longer assigned to you, the button shows No access.
