Registrations
Manage attendee registrations, process refunds, configure registration settings, and issue exemption or discount codes from one tab with four sub-tabs.
Purpose
The Registrations tab is the hub for everything to do with who attends your conference and what they pay. It opens on a roster of every registration with live revenue and pending-action stats, and groups the rest of the work into four sub-tabs:
- Registrations — the roster: search, filter, sort, verify bank transfers, cancel, and export attendees, plus revenue and net-payout figures.
- Refunds — process bank-transfer refunds for cancelled registrations and audit Stripe refunds that were issued automatically.
- Settings — configure registration mode, capacity, pricing tiers, paper coverage, payment methods, add-ons, the cancellation policy, and camera-ready gating.
- Exemptions — generate per-email codes that give a full waiver or a partial discount at checkout.
When you use it
Use this tab throughout the conference lifecycle: configure pricing and payment in Settings before you open registration, hand out Exemptions codes to invited speakers and sponsors, watch registrations and revenue roll in on the Registrations roster, and clear bank-transfer Refunds as cancellations come through.
Before you open registration, set your pricing tiers, currency, and payment methods in the Settings sub-tab. Registration dates themselves live in the Important Dates tab — Settings reads them and shows them read-only.
Walkthrough
- 1
Open the Conference Leadership Console, select your conference, and click the Registrations tab.
- 2
The sub-tab bar shows four sections — Registrations, Refunds, Settings, and Exemptions. The Registrations and Refunds tabs carry a count badge (total registrations, and pending manual refunds).
- 3
Start in Settings to define how registration works (mode, pricing tiers, payment methods, cancellation policy). Save each section as you edit it.
- 4
Use Exemptions to create codes for anyone who registers free or at a discount, then share each code with its recipient.
- 5
Once registration is open, track attendees on the Registrations roster and clear any Refunds that need manual processing.
Tips
- The roster updates live — new registrations and payment confirmations appear without a manual refresh.
- The Registrations badge counts every registration; the Refunds badge counts only refunds still awaiting manual processing.
- Authoritative money figures always live in Stripe. The console shows gross collected and a net-of-fees breakdown, with a View in Stripe button for the source of truth.
