Submissions

Every valid submission of the conference, grouped by program and sub-program in the Conference Leadership Console, and moving submissions from any program to any other.

Last updated: 2026-10-25

Purpose

The Submissions tab lists every valid submission of the conference in one place: submitted papers that are not withdrawn or deleted (drafts are left out). It is grouped the same way as the reviewer sign up page, so you can see at a glance where each paper sits, and it is where the conference leadership moves a paper sent to the wrong program, for example from the main track to a workshop.

When you use it

  • To see every program's submissions without opening each console.
  • To open any submission's page.
  • To move submissions from one program or sub-program to another.

Walkthrough

  1. 1

Open the Conference Leadership Console, choose the conference and select the Submissions tab.

  2. 2

The Programs section lists the top level programs in their display order: the main programs and the Multi-Programs. Then each Multi-Program has its own section with its sub-programs. The arrow beside a section's title folds the section away. The small button beside a section's count (Collapse All, two arrows pointing together) hides the tables of every program in that section; once all are hidden it turns into Expand All (two arrows pointing apart) and shows them again.

  3. 3

Each program is a card showing its name, acronym, a Paused tag when it is paused, and how many valid submissions it has. Click the arrow at the left of the card to hide its table of submissions; click it again to show the table.

  4. 4

Each row shows a checkbox, the Name (the paper id, with the title under it, cut with "…" when long; hover the title to read it whole), the Authors (the corresponding author and "+N" for the others; hover to see every author with their affiliation and email), the Submission Category (coloured by type: cyan for a paper, purple for an abstract, blue for a proposal), the status and the eye button (View Submission), which opens the submission's page. Its breadcrumb and Back bring you back here. Click the Name, Authors, Submission Category or Status heading to sort that program's table by it (Name sorts by paper id); click it again to reverse the order.

  5. 5

A table shows 10 rows a page; choose 25 or 50 under Rows. Below it, First, Back, the page numbers ("…" stands for the pages in between), Next and Last move through the pages. Search by number or title at the top right; matching programs stay open while you search.

  6. 6

To move submissions, select them in one program (selections stay while you change pages or hide a table) and click Move a Submission. The window shows the program they are in with the selected submissions under it. Choose the program or sub-program to move them to under To, grouped by section, and click Move.

  7. 7

A submission keeps its Submission Category when the target has one of the same name. When it doesn't, the window asks you to choose one of the target's categories for that submission; Move works once each is chosen. A track works the same way without asking: the submission keeps it when the target has a track of that name, otherwise its track is left blank.

  8. 8

The window then lists each submission's old and new numbers, or why it stayed, plus any warning: fewer authors than the target requires, double blind review in the target, or a track the target does not have. Such a submission still moves.

  9. 9

Move History, beside Move a Submission, lists every move in the conference, newest first: the paper id, its name, the program it came from and the one it went to (each with the number it had there), and the date. Moves made before 25 October 2026 are not recorded.

Tips

What can move

Only submitted papers not yet in review move: with a reviewer or Area Chair assigned, a review or a decision, a submission stays, and the window says why. Each moved submission gets a new number in its new program, and its bids and matching suggestions from the old program are removed. A Multi-Program's own proposals are listed but can't be selected (approving a proposal creates its sub-program), and Invited Talks don't move.

Who is emailed

The corresponding author and the submitting author (one email when they are the same person), and the program chairs of both programs. When either is a sub-program, its Multi-Program's chairs are emailed too.

Who can move

The General Chair, General Co-Chairs, Vice Chairs and System Admins of the conference. A Multi-Program Chair moves submissions only between the sub-programs of their Multi-Program, from their own console.
