Programs

Purpose

The Programs tab manages the sub-programs that live under your container program — the individual workshops, tutorials, or sessions in your category. It reuses the same sub-program manager organizers use, embedded inside the console: sub-program cards with activate, edit, and delete controls, drag-to-reorder, a card/list view toggle, a Create Program button, and read-only oversight views for each sub-program.

When you use it

• To add a sub-program directly (rather than waiting for a proposal to be accepted).
• To edit a sub-program's settings, or activate/deactivate it to open or close it without deleting anything.
• To reorder how sub-programs are listed.
• To peek at a sub-program's submissions, committee, or reviews without leaving the console.

Walkthrough

1. 1

   Open the Multi-Program Chair Console, select your container, and open the Programs tab.

   Switch between card and list view with the toggle, whichever reads better for your number of sub-programs.

   Click Create Program to add a sub-program under this container. (When the container is empty, use the create prompt in the center of the tab.) You're taken to the program creation flow with the container pre-set as the parent.

   Reorder sub-programs by dragging a card or list item by its handle; the order is saved automatically.

   On each sub-program, use Edit to change its settings, the activate/deactivate control to open or close it, and Delete to remove it.

   Use a sub-program's Submissions, Committee, and Reviews buttons to open read-only oversight views (counts and lists) without navigating away.
