Submissions
The Submissions tab is your program's paper roster, split into two sub-tabs — All Submissions for browsing and managing every paper, and Desk Screening for clearing the policy-flag queue.
Purpose
The Submissions tab is where every paper submitted to your program lives. In a Full-tier program running Direct review it is split into two sub-tabs:
- All Submissions — the full roster: a sortable, filterable table of every paper with status counts, author tools, PDF downloads, email, and delete/restore controls.
- Desk Screening — a focused queue of papers that tripped a desk-rejection policy check, where you confirm or dismiss each flagged paper.
When you use it
- To find, sort, and inspect any paper in your program.
- To download submission PDFs or look up an author's profile.
- To email one paper's authors or a selection of them at once.
- To soft-delete, restore, or permanently remove withdrawn papers.
- To work through papers your policy checks flagged for possible desk rejection.
The Desk Screening sub-tab appears for Standard and Light programs, and for Full-tier programs running Direct review. It does not appear for programs using Instant AI Review or Two-Stage (ARR) review. When it is hidden, the Submissions tab shows the All Submissions table on its own.
Walkthrough
- 1
Open the Program Chair Console, select your program, and click the Submissions tab.
- 2
Use the sub-tab bar to switch between All Submissions and Desk Screening.
- 3
Start in All Submissions to browse the roster, filter by status, and open individual papers.
- 4
Switch to Desk Screening to clear any papers waiting in the policy-flag queue.
Tips
Use All Submissions for day-to-day browsing, author contact, and cleanup. Use Desk Screening only for papers your desk-rejection policy flagged — its queue is empty until a submission trips a check.
